Itecor introduces operational intelligence layer to improve visibility across distributed consulting teams

by
Supervised

Itecor, a Swiss IT boutique consultancy serving both public and private sector organisations, has deployed a proof-of-concept with Supervised, a platform that captures operational updates through conversations and turns them into structured, real-time visibility across projects and teams. Supervised is currently being tested by 30 consultants, reflecting Itecor’s hands-on approach to innovation and internal experimentation.

As AI tools accelerate output and enable more decentralised ways of working, consulting firms are finding it harder to maintain a clear view of what is happening across teams. Managers often rely on fragmented updates and periodic reporting, limiting their ability to identify risks or act early.

Known for its close client relationships and focus on delivery quality, Itecor has focused on how to maintain this level of proximity and follow-up as work becomes more distributed. The initiative reflects the firm’s broader strategy to adopt this type of AI internally before bringing these capabilities to its clients.

Supervised addresses this challenge by capturing updates directly from teams through short, structured voice conversations and transforming them into a continuous view of project activity, risks, and progress. Over time, this creates a structured, searchable layer of operational knowledge across the organisation.

Facts and figures

• 4 hours saved by leadership per week on status chasing to spend more quality time with clients

• 30 hours freed up for consultants to focus on relationship management rather than providing updates

• Knowledge base up to date - the dream of every Chief Knowledge Officer

The initiative is led by Lori Stefano Petrucci, Head of Operations Swiss-romande at Itecor, who oversees around 100 consultants working across multiple client sites.

“In consulting, staying on top of what’s really happening across teams goes far beyond occasional status meetings. What we needed was a structured way to capture ongoing signals, both on project health and on people’s experience," said Lori Stefano Petrucci. "With Supervised, we can gather regular, consistent feedback, spot weak signals early, and build a shared knowledge base over time. It strengthens the manager relationship by providing clearer, more frequent insights, and by helping us focus quickly on the situations that need attention”.

The pilot, launched earlier this year, focuses on improving project-level visibility and enabling more proactive management. According to the company, early use has reduced reliance on status meetings and improved the speed at which delivery issues are identified.

“Most organisations are still managing through status meetings and manual updates,” said Adrien Treccani, CEO at Supervised. “We’re replacing that with continuous visibility by capturing updates as work happens and structuring them into something leaders can act on.”

The initiative reflects a broader shift as organisations move away from periodic reporting toward continuous visibility, with increasing focus on capturing and structuring operational knowledge as work happens.
